About Stefanie
Stefanie Sussman, M.S. CCC-SLP offers more than 20 years of experience working with the pediatric population as a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist.
She maintains certification in Speech-Language Pathology from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH).
Stefanie is trained in the following methods:

Orton-Gillingham
Dynamic Temporal & Tactile Cueing (DTTC)
SOS approach to feeding
Orofacial myofunctional therapy (from the AOMT)

Executive functioning skills
Family education & counseling
Stefanie received her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Emerson College in Boston and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences from Indiana University.
Over the years Stefanie has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, public and private schools, Head Start schools, specialized clinics, and sensory gyms. She brings extensive experience assessing and treating clients with receptive & expressive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, auditory processing disorders, pre-literacy and literacy skills, and language learning difficulties.
Stefanie believes learning and teaching is an ongoing process. She regularly attends courses to stay updated on the most current therapeutic interventions, strategies, and ideas. She delivers a holistic approach that includes parents, caregivers, and teachers collaborating together to achieve success.
